Counter-Strike: Source was a big asset to the team last year at the World Finals. With a player-by-player draft, is the issue of chemistry magnified since they were a big part of your success last season?

Michael "ODEE" O'dell:I am pretty sure we were the best Counter-Strike: Source team at the World Finals. Carolina will whine at that, but we did not get the chance to drill them into the ground as well. The UK is blessed with world class players, so I feel the individual draft will not affect things too much; both UK teams will be a threat to every team in the CGS. I hope my team can perform as they did at the World Ffinals; they were fantastic.

Has the perception of the CGS in Europe changed as the league enters its second year, and with the announced partnership with Eurosport?

I have numerous examples of friends, relatives and people I hardly know who have come across it on Eurosport 2 - as its distribution is pretty wide - and they all share my opinion. I hope as more and more people in Europe get to watch they come out where I have been the last ten months - that this 'thing', this league is the coolest thing to hit gaming - despite the different aspects that we still need to fix in order to continue to raise the bar for ourselves and the world-wide community.

Some people assume I've already got the team sorted behind closed doors, and wont be openly scouting new talent -- this cannot be further from the truth.
